Age: 16.  Woo, I can drive.
Birthday: November 6th, 1985
Zodiac sign: Scorpio (actually I'm really a Saggitarius...bet you didn't know this, but all the Western zodiac signs are really one sign behind what they're supposed to be.  I act more like an Aquarius, though, than either Scorpio or Saggitarius)
Chinese Zodiac: year of the Ox (I fit the description for Tiger more though, which goes to show you zodiac isn't all it's cracked up to be)
Celtic Zodiac: Birch (they're all named after plants, like August is vine and January is alder)
Gender: female (that should be obvious...er, I, uh, think?)
Preference: I like guys.  And girls.  A lot.  Yep, I'm bisexual (and if you have a problem with that, you have two minutes to LEAVE NOW before I strap you to an antler chair and lecture at you)

School: no one needs to know this, do they?

Height: 5'6" and a half according to my measurements, although it says 5'7" on my driver's license.
Weight: around 130/140 lbs last I checked...probably more now but I really don't care about nor pay attention to my weight.
Hair color: brown with reddish tints
Eye color: Blue with gold-ish flecks, although they can look green or blue, depending.  They look really, really green when I cry though, which is...odd.
Frequently Used Phrases/Words: "Screw this", "bloody", "chikuso", "dude", "yo", "sayo" (short for sayonara), "What's the frequency, Kenneth?", "Golf claps," and "Drackala!"  Don't ask about the "Drackala" thing...oh, and thanks to Katrina I've recently started using the all-purpose "punk rock".  What does it mean?  I couldn't tell you myself...I've been known to say "You bitch, you punk rocked my tweezers!", "You're WAY more punk rock than me," and "You're a Juri fangirl too?  Punk rock, city people!" at times.
Favorite colors: blue, green, lavender, and copper
Favorite movie: Silence of the Lambs, Psycho, The Sixth Sense, Vertigo
Favorite singers/recording artists: David Arkenstone, David Arkenstone, David Arkenstone (^^;;;;), Green Day, REM, U2, Vertical Horizon, Eric Clapton, Lunasa, Kila, Kila, Kila, Kila. ^^;;;;
Favorite actor: Val Kilmer, Ardal O'Hanlon, Robin Williams, Dana Carvey...Will Ferrell ROCKS, as does Daryll Hammond, I'm not sure which of them I like better.  And, er...does Bill Maher count as an actor?  No?  Okay then.
Favorite actress: Julia Stiles, Zhang Ziyi, Alexandra Dahlstrom (even though I haven't seen "Fucking Amal"...yet)

Favorite TV show: Sports Night, Father Ted, Fawlty Towers, the Gilmore Girls
Favorite book: any of the Harry Potter books ('specially the fourth one, and I have a feeling they're going to get better), Silence of the Lambs, the Myst books, Brave New World (I love negative Utopia books, I want to read 1984 this summer)
Hobbies: anime, computer games, website design, drawing, writing, swimming, Irish stepdancing (like in Riverdance), dancing in general, foreign languages, listening to music, bodhran, theater, kisekae, traveling...and the list goes on...
Favorite subject: psychology or Japanese
Worst subject: science or math...and US history, it's so biased.
Family: parents both alive but I only live with my mom, 28-year-old sister who doesn't live with us anymore (obviously), only one grandparent left (grandmother on dad's side), an uncle on mom's side and one boy and one girl cousin, two uncles on Dad's side and god knows how many cousins and second cousins and all those other people.
Pets: a dog (Gizmo), who is a border collie and he's bisexual too!  Yep, yep.  And a cat, Jordan, who's almost as old as I am (which is pretty darn old for a cat).  When I move out I want to get another dog, though, preferably a Westie, whom I would name Bono. ^-^ Or Lemon. *is a U2 fanatic* Or two dogs, one brown and one black, Moony and Padfoot. ^-^
Religion: atheist, but I believe in reincarnation too...yeah, I'm kind of contradictory. ^-^ I'm not so much anti-religion anymore as I am anti-fundamentalism, and I don't mind religious people as long as no attempt at converting me takes place. :P
Political Party: GREEN!  Yes, I'm a third-party and very proud of it, so much so that I've got a Nader/La Duke 2000 sticker on my computer (used to be on the car ^-^) and I would have voted for Nader if I could (say what you will about "a vote for Nader is a vote for Bush", I really don't care anymore).
Major: Y'know, I should probably figure this out soon...it'll probably be studio art or animation.
Preferred Career: I've been kind of wavering between psychologist, writer, artist, translator, and a few other things for a long time.  But now I think I want to be an animator...I still need a LOT of practice, tho.  Although if I could have any career I want, no restrictions?  Professional KiSS artist. ^-^ Or I'd be a politician, either independant or Green party, and I'd lead whatever party in taking over Congress and revolutionizing the American government...mwahahaha. (no, I'm not psychotic, at all...*sweatdrop*) Sekai o kakumei suru chikara o!  Heh heh heh.
How many children I want: I haven't a clue..three, probably.  If necessary I'll adopt, but I'd really like to have the experience of giving birth at least once...not in the near future, needless to say. ^^;;;
What I'll name my children: Ooh, something Japanese... Miyuki, Maiko, Kirei, Kotori, Rei, Minako, Airashii, Shiori, Shizu, Natsumi, Kaze, Kasumi, or Yui if it's a girl; Miki, Kojiro, Takeshi, Satoshi, Sakaki, Mikage, or Tasuki if it's a boy.  But if I had to pick an English name, like if my spouse wasn't a fellow anime freak, I'd pick Raye, Artemis, Venus, Azure, Penelope, Andrea, Misty, Aoife, Aine, Caoimhe, Saoirse, Kiera, Breffni, or Bronwyn if it's a girl; or David, Raymond, Alexander, Roy, Sean, Victor, Ashton, Tristan, Aidan, Oisin, Dougal, Ardal, Cedric (I'm almost definitely going to name my first son this), Mitchell, or Kieran if it's a boy.
5 words that summarize me: intelligent, extroverted, creative, open-minded (I'm using that as one word), sarcastic

The anime portion of the survey
When did you first begin watching anime? Well, I first saw Sailormoon in 1995, but it was the Indonesian dub and I couldn't understand a word, therefore it didn't hold my attention too long.  The first time I watched it, as in actually actively _watched_ a show, was in 1998.
What was the first anime that you watched? Sailor Moon, the dubbed episode An Uncharmed Life or whatever the one was where Rei...no, sorry, Raye...first appeared.  I'm so lame, I remember exactly what ep it was.
What is your favorite anime series? At the moment I guess it would be Fushigi Yuugi, although Utena is giving FY a run for its money...
Other favorites? Serial Experiments Lain, Shoujo Kakumei Utena, Slayers, Evangelion.  And although I've only seen a few episodes each of Yami no Matsuei and Noir, I LOVE them and really really want to see more.  I also want to read Hanazakari no Kimitachi E, it looks good.
What is your least favourite anime series? Dragonball, Urusei Yatsura
How many anime series have you seen? 65 as of October 1st, 2001.  Yup, I have a list of them all and yup, I counted them.  I'm a loser.
What is your favorite anime movie? Adolescence Mokushiroku, which was really weird and almost rivaling Evangelion in f*cked-up-ness.  But the animation was really amazing in some scenes and I actually LIKED Anshi in the movie...a miracle, I know.
What is your least favorite anime movie? I don't have one, all the ones I've watched so far have been good
What is your favorite manga? Haven't read as many manga as anime I've seen, but...guess it'd be Rayearth
Do you prefer dubbed, subtitled, or raw? Subtitled, definitely.  I never watch dubs, unless I'm already familiar with the series and want to see what kinda voices the characters were given, or unless a voice actor I like is in it.  Raw is okay though, I'd rather watch that than a dub and I do know a bit of Japanese so I can get the gist of the goings-on (once tried to translate raw Pocket Monsters for my cousin, who eventually got impatient and gave up on me ^-^ but this was last year and I know so much more Japanese now).
Who is your favorite anime/manga character? Without a doubt, it's Tenjou Utena.  I also like Takeshi (Pokemon), Juri (Utena), Nuriko (Fushigi Yuugi), Zelgadis (Slayers), and Umi (Rayearth)
Who is your least favorite anime character? MIAKA!  DIE MIAKA DIE!  *deep breath, then smiles innocently* As you can see, I hate Miaka.  Oh, my other least favorites are the Kiryuu siblings and Saionji (SKU)(Touga is growing on me, though...AAAAAUGH I'm becoming a fangirl!), Naga (Slayers), and Hiyama Hikaru (Kimagure Orange Road).
Best OP animation? Lain or Utena
Best OP song? Any of the ones from Slayers, Cruel Angel's Thesis (Evangelion), Duvet (Serial Experiments Lain)
Best ED Song? Tokimeki no Doukasen (Fushigi Yuugi), Heart of Sword ~ Yoake Mae and It's Gonna Rain (Rurouni Kenshin)
Who is your favorite seiyuu? Ogata Megumi, Hayashibara Megumi, Kawakami Tomoko, Hisakawa Aya, Seki Tomokazu, Mitsuishi Kotono and Midorikawa Hikaru.  And I like Okui Masami, although she's not a seiyuu.
What's the best dub you've ever seen? Pokemon and Slayers are okay, but I really don't like dubs in general
What is the worst dub you've seen? Sailor Moon (don't get me started), Card Captors (her name is TOMOYO and it's not Avalon, that sucks as a last name and FOR FECK'S SAKE it's Card Captor SAKURA, it's not sexist to have a girl as the main character and to gear it towards girls).
What is the latest anime you've seen? A lot of new ones at the anime club screening...oh yeah, I think it was Ayashi no Ceres.  That was pretty cool.
Which anime character are you most like? Juri, Hino Rei (manga), Aino Minako (I'm not as ditzy though), Nuriko, Ryuuzaki Umi...depends what mood I'm in when you ask me this.  Right now I feel like Minako a little.
Which character do physically resemble the most? mostly Kino Makoto, 'cause I'm like her clone or something, and I can do my hair like Miaka too but otherwise I don't look anything like her, thank god.  I wish I looked like Himemiya Anshi though (from the movie, not the TV series, because she has the best hair in the movie and she's actually kinda cool)
